Sorry, that was a long winded attempt at explaining yes, I am a little worried its the console.if it's just the game being poorly optimised im fine with that though! I also noticed genshin impact had a lot of small but not uncommon dips and stutters but I don't really play it, just wanted to test. So having that sound and dirts poor performance made me worry there's an equivalent to the silicon lottery problems you'd find on PC, but dirt is the only game I can check (ps5 wise yes) and DF did a good job but I don't think they tested any of the areas I stated (arcade, solo no other cars, rain at night along with solo gymkharna, which had more than a few dips) I am lazy so don't want to send it back, and I am quite capable of taking it apart but I don't want to yet, I'm leaning on the side that its normal and fine but.I always get anxious with new tech for some reason, I don't know why but I hate dealing with sending stuff back. Now I've heard there's a sticker amd this guy (sorry it's chinese I think so not sure what he says but its the same sound and at 3:30 you see the sticker) removes it BUT there's multiple people saying they have the same sound but no sticker. Well yeah, I'm a little bit anxious it's my makes a funny noise (it's not very loud or anything just.strange, and it isn't coil whine) in fact it sounds like this at the 1 minute mark (sorry, the device im on isn't letting me copy at the correct time)

Has anyone noticed this? Could someone test out arcade solo at night in the rain in large cockpit view and gymkhana for me please? It's not massively egregious or anything and I'm sure a lot will say "runs like butter to me" but I game on a 165hz PC so I'm quite sensitive to frame drops, and I'm hoping some more aware people could verify they've seen it in the areas ive mentioned. I noticed in image quality mode theres a couple of dips in a pile up but not in resolution mode, so its weird these dips happen when solo. Then I went back to career and did the first gymkhana event and that was really poor with a lot of stutters. It's generally perfect in a race with other cars BUT I tried arcade and tested a few tracks at night, in the rain, in cockpit mode without the wheel showing and most tracks had some poor performance areas as solo (for some reason it's worse going into a race as the only car). Has anyone noticed some poor performance? I've got it in resolution mode. In some selected races I notice some problems. I watched digital foundry and they analysed there were some dips on pile ups, but they didn't test everything it seems.
Currently dirt 5 is the only true ps5 game I have at the moment, so I can't test with anything else, but it concerns me a bit that maybe it's my ps5 having issues.
